Spiritual Practices includes topics such as journaling, silence and solitude, lectio divina, art and spirituality, and others. This course will help you to discover new ways to connect with God.

Note: Spiritual Practices is an exceptional foundational course for Christ followers. Additionally, Spiritual Practices serves as a prerequisite for Spiritual Direction Training Program participants (see details below).

Spiritual Direction is a unique relationship in which one person helps another to discern the movement of God in his or her life through attentive listening and spiritually formative questions.

Unlike counseling (which focuses on finding a solution to a problem) or discipleship (which focuses on the foundations of the faith), spiritual direction focuses on where a believer is encountering God in the midst of daily life. Meetings occur once a month with a trained spiritual director.

Spiritual Direction Training Program is designed to train evangelicals in the art of spiritual direction, with a focus on the "how to" of spiritual direction.

Prerequisite: Spiritual Practices (see details above)
